Tandem Health has closed a USD 100mn Series B from the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, alongside existing investors Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective and Visionaries. It is the first healthcare AI company the fund has backed.

The capital will accelerate the adoption of AI across European healthcare, taking the company from an AI Medical Assistant to an AI-native Clinic Operating System that extends into patient flow management, covering triaging, scheduling and patient communications. It will also fund a deeper push across European markets, building on offices in 14 countries: Germany, France, the UK, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Portugal, Estonia and Lithuania.

The round follows a USD 50mn Series A in 2025 and brings total funding to USD 160mn.

Tandem Health builds clinically safe, regulatory-grade AI for clinicians. Over the past year it has grown from an AI Medical Scribe into an AI Medical Assistant supporting pre-charting, clinical decision support, documentation, referrals, coding and task management.

Its AI Scribe, Coding Assistant and Clinical Decision Support are each independently certified as Class IIa medical devices under the EU Medical Device Regulation. The company is also certified to ISO 27001, ISO 13485 and ISO 42001, along with C5 in Germany, ENS High in Spain and HDS in France.
