Hammerhead AI has emerged from stealth with USD 10mn in seed funding to accelerate product development, scale global deployments and deepen its ties with infrastructure OEMs and AI factory operators.

The oversubscribed round was led by Buoyant Ventures, with participation from SE Ventures, AINA Climate AI Ventures, MCJ Collective, WovenEarth Ventures, Bombellii Ventures, Clearvision Ventures, Stepchange, Acclimate Ventures, and several industry investors including Jack Cogen of CoreWeave.

AI factories (colocation providers, hyperscalers) typically run at between 30-50% utilization because they cannot source enough power. The company’s orchestrated RL control agents (ORCA) platform orchestrates workloads within power budgets, enabling AI factory operators and colocation providers to deploy workloads faster, improve gross margins and capture revenue from power that is currently idle. According to the Hammerhead, each additional megawatt of stranded power unlocked using ORCA can be worth between USD 20mn and USD 50mn.
