The company which is referred to as ‘the Stripe for LLMs, helps businesses route and optimize token use across 400+ models from more than 80 providers. OpenRouter, which is based in New York, raised USD 153mn in two funding rounds. - Frontier AI lab for national security Smack raises $61mn Series B round
Smack, a US-based frontier lab for national security, has raised USD 61mn for its Series B round of funding to enable the company to build the proprietary hardware necessary to deploy its tactical AI platform, Alpha. The round was led by Costanoa Ventures and First In, with participation from Point72 Ventures, Geodesic Capital, Nomi Capital, Felicis, Sapphire Ventures, Scribble Ventures, Fortitude Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, and Palumni VC. The round brings Smack’s total capital raised to over USD 90mn.
