OLIX, an AI chip startup building the infrastructure for frontier AI inference, has announced it has raised USD 312mn for its Series B round of financing at a USD 3.3bn valuation. Investors in the round included Fundomo, Arm, Hudson River Trading and angel investors.
Existing investor Hummingbird Ventures, Crane, Plural, Creandum, Phoenix Court and Transition all increased their commitments.
OLIX is built on the foundation that using specialised chips for each stage of the token production process will unlock a step change in AI performance and cost, which is in contrast to the industry’s approach that runs evert stage on the same general purpose chip. - Relu sets eyes on US expansion following $1.75mn strategic investment
Relu, a Belgian AI platform that automates the design and administrative work for dental lab cases such as night guards, crowns and dental models, has secured a USD 1.75mn strategic investment from Dental Innovation Alliance.
DIA also participated in the company’s seed round of funding.
The startup plans to use the investment to expand its presence in the United States. - Insight Partners leads the way for Convex’s Series B round
Convex, a reactive backend platform, has raised USD 57mn for its Series B round to accelerate product development and hire in San Francisco.
With software teams shipping more code that is increasingly written by AI agents, the underlying infrastructure has not kept up, meaning that when frontier coding agents build on traditional infrastructure, issues occur. According to Convex, its platform makes correctness the default and developers do not need to make manual interventions.
The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from Etna Labs, a16z and Spark Capital, which brings the total funding raised to USD 110.5mn. - Actualyze AI emerges from stealth with $7mn Seed funding
Actualyze AI has raised USD 7mn for its Seed round backed by Storm Ventures, Canaan Partners, Morado Ventures and AME Cloud Ventures. The AI-native platform, sits between an organization’s people, applications and every AI model it uses, and gives enterprises one place to govern, secure, operate and optimize AI. - Avatar Robotics raises $6.5mn Seed round
Avatar Robotics has raised USD 6.5mn for its Seed round led by AlleyCorp, alongside a pre-seed round led by defy.vc and with participation from Headline, Henry Ford III, Refashiond and angel investors. The company is addressing persistent U.S. labor shortages across warehousing, logistics and manufacturing. As companies reshore operations and demand faster fulfilment, facilities struggle to hire and retrain enough workers. The new capital will be used to expand deployments, accelerate autonomy software development, scale robot fleet, and grow the company’s engineering and operations teams. - Worldscape completes $10mn Seed extension round
Worldscape, an AI-native decision advantage platform, has raised a USD 10mn Seed extension round led by Scout Ventures, with participation from Radius Capital. The financing will go towards expanding the company’s engineering and AI research teams, accelerating capabilities and integrations with government, industry, and academic partners. It will also continue investing in autonomous AI agents, large-scale simulation, and its platform-native marketplace. - SiteVue AI raises $7.5mn Seed round
AI-powered video manufacturer SiteVue has raised USD 7.5mn for its Seed round, which was co-led by Penny Jar Capital and Overture and with participation from Silence, Spring Bank, Mana Ventures, Outset Capital, Waterstone and Untapped Ventures. The company’s video cameras use a technology that transforms production operations into actionable data. Its custom-trained models analyze camera footage, in real time, for process bottlenecks, cycle times, product defects, machine health and other factors.
