  • Legora acquires Wexler
    Swedish legal AI company Legora has announced its acquisition of Wexler, a fact intelligence platform that extracts, verifies and reasons over the factual record from large and unstructured data sets. Combined with Legora’s platform, Wexler’s engine will become the fact layer underneath Legora’s agentic workflows.
    Litigation and disputes teams at Clifford Chance, Goodwin and Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and in-house legal and compliance teams at large global enterprisers are among Wexler’s users.
    Wexler was advised by TD Securities.
  • Trio lead Encore AI’s $30mn Series A round
    Team8, Planven and The Garage have led Encore AI’s USD 30mn Series A round, which the agentic customer interaction platform will use to expand its global deployment. Other investors in the round are Lukatz as well as several large commercial banks and insurers that initially came on as clients before choosing to invest after experiencing the platform’s impact on their own operation.

  • Passion project Fish Audio raises $52mn Seed funding round
    Fish Audio, a voice AI platform, has raised USD 52mn in Seed funding following its evolution from a side project to USD 21mn ARR and eight million users in its first year. The round was led by Coreline Ventures and Capital Today, with participation from 359 Capital, Play Time, HFO, 645 Ventures, Parable, Carya Venture Partners, Alphalist Partners and angel investors.
    The company will use the funding to expand its model lineup beyond text-to-speech into the full audio-native stack, including voice-native LLMs, speech-to-speech and more. It will also build out its enterprise sales team, and deepen developer tooling and integrations.
    Fish Audio was created as a result of frustration felt by the company’s co-founder Shijia Liao, who started training models on a single GPU, to offer alternatives to the prevalent monotonous synthetic AI voices. The result was an open-source project that became popular on GitHub with more than 31,000 stars and amassed a devoted following.
  • Health Velocity Capital leads Procode’s Series A round
    Procode, an AI-powered medical billing company that serves private practice surgeons, has raised USD 10mn for its Series A round led by Health Velocity Capital. The company is on an acquisitive streak. It recently acquired revenue cycle management company Auctus Group, and it will use the proceeds of the round to buy two additional companies, the details of which it will announce in the coming months.
  • Freight Hero closes $5mn seed round
    Freight Hero, an AI company that manages freight brokers’ back-office operations has closed a USD 5mn seed round led by Field Ventures. Other investors Flybridge Capital, TipTop VC and Front Porch Venture Partners also participated. The company will use the funding to expand its go-to-market efforts, grow its operations team and deepen its service to include adjacent functions such as accounting, carrier sales and billing. Freight Hero has raised a total of USD 6mn to date.
  • UNIT AI announces $12mn in funding from investors
    Physical AI company UNIT AI has announced USD 12mn in funding co-led by Prologis Ventures, Dynamo Ventures and Ground UP Ventures to expand deployment capacity, accelerate product innovation and support commercial growth across North America.
    Other investors in the round were eGateway Capital, Recursive Ventures, Think+ Ventures, ZEP Fund and Crosscourt.
    UNIT AI was founded by warehouse automation veterans to remove the cost, complexity and infrastructure barriers that have in the past limited automation adoption.
  • FirstMark Capital leads Henry AI’s Series A round
    Henry AI, a platform that automates back-office knowledge work for real estate teams, has announced it has raised USD 16.5mn for its Series A round led by FirstMark Capital, with strategic participation from Thomson Reuters Ventures.
    Follow on investment came from Y Combinator, Susa Ventures, 1Sharpe, StoryHouse Ventures, Pioneer Fund, RXR Arden Digital Ventures, Karman Ventures and Coalition Operators. The company will use the new capital it expand its engineering and product teams as well as build out from a document engine into ‘the’ system of record for CRE deals.
  • Credible Data to accelerate platform’s scale-up following $10mn Seed round
    Credible Data has raised USD 10mn for its Seed round from Gradient, SignalFire, K5 Global and angel investors. The platform is built on Malloy, an open-source semantic modeling language that turns organization-specific governed metrics, definitions, entities and relationships into executable business context, which AI agents and applications can query, reuse and trust.
    The business solves the business context problem that causes AI agents to produce inconsistent or incorrect answers from the same underlying data. It does so by anayzing how an enterprise actually uses its data to generate a universal, governable semantic model of organization-specific business context using Malloy.
  • Antares Labs completes $7.25mn seed round to build the ‘AI brain for real estate’
    Antares Labs has raised USD 7.25mn for its seed round from Fifth Wall, Base 10 Partners, Bloomberg Beta and Sandwith Ventures. The company is building what it refers to as ‘the AI brain for real estate,’ a platform that turns institutional knowledge into action by helping owners, developers investors asset owners turn proprietary data, workflows and institutional knowledge into custom AI systems built into their own environments.
