This week, we lead with news that Samaipata Partners has launched Samaipata II, a EUR 110mn fund that will back Europe’s builders in the age of AI as companies continue to reap multiple benefits such as compressing development cycles, growing with more capital efficiency and launching products with greater technical depth. The fund plans to back between 25 and 30 European tech companies ‘building on the AI wave’, and will lead early-stage rounds in companies in Spain as well as key tech hubs such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom.

  • WhiteBridge AI completes €2.6mn Seed round
    People research platform WhiteBridge AI has raised a EUR 2.6mn Seed round from FIRSTPICK VC, FirstDegree, NGL Ventures, Scalewolf.VC, BADideas.fund, Netolabs, angel investors and Plug and Play. The Vilnius-based startup will use the funds to expand the number of data providers it connects to, invest in data provenance, integrity and explainability.
  • Berlin’s Tower raises €5.5mn to transform data engineering
    Data orchestrator Tower has raised a EUR 5.5mn pre-Seed and Seed round to grow its go-to-market team and deepen the platform’s capabilities. Based in Berlin, the company is building the Databricks of the Python era. It was supported by DIG Ventures (pre-seed lead), Speedinvest (seed lead), Flyer One Ventures, Roosh Ventures, Celero Ventures, Angel Invest as well as angels and operators. The company is hiring principal and senior engineers in Berlin and London and GTM staff in London and the US.
  • Delfos Energy secures €3mn to grow “virtual engineer” offering
    Spain’s Delfos Energy has raised a EUR 3mn Seed extension round as it prepares to raise a Series A round of funding within the next 12-18 months. The round includes new investment from Vox Capital/COPEL, with existing investors Headline, Contrarian Ventures, DOMO VC and EDP Ventures also participating. To date, Delfos Energy has raised a total of EUR 10mn.
    The company will use the funds to meet continued demand from the energy sector.
  • Sybilion raises €3.6mn Seed round
    Sybilion, a company that enriches decision-making with AI, has raised a EUR 3.6mn (USD 4.2mn) Seed round from Venturefriends and Semapa Next. The Portuguese company will use the funds to recruit individuals and fund further platform development, which will include adding new data sources.
  • Lemrock raises €6mn to build agentic commerce infrastructure
    Paris-based Lemrock has raised a EUR 6mn (USD 7mn) funding round to build its agentic commerce solution. Investors in the round are Galion.exe and several angel investors. The startup’s infrastructure gives retailers a single access point to major conversational platforms, transaction handling and more to enable them to sell better at a time when brands are experiencing a decline in website traffic.
