  • Neurophos raises $110mn for its Series A round
    Austin-based Neurophos has raised USD 110mn for its oversubscribed Series A round. The company is building a proprietary optical processing unit (OPU) that is ultra-fast, energy efficient and adaptable to future AI workloads. It replaces traditional silicon-based GPUs which are unable to meet growing computational demands and result in increased costs and energy consumption. The round was led by Gates Frontier, with participation from M12, Carbon Direct Capital, Aramco Ventures, Bosch Ventures, Tectonic Ventures, Space Capital and others.
    Neurophos has raised USD 118mn in total funding.
  • Yuki emerges from stealth, raises $6mn seed round
    Real-time optimization platform Yuki has raised USD 6mn for its seed round led by Hyperwise Ventures along with VelocitX, Tal Ventures, Fresh.fund and Yakir Daniel.
    Yuki is addressing the rigid one-size-fits-all infrastructure that forces teams with different SLAs, budgets and performance needs into identical compute resources that cause massive inefficiencies. Its core product, Yuki Fabric, solves this problem. It is an optimization AI model that acts as a unified control and automation layer across an organization’s data infrastructure. This model continuously learns workload behavior, SLAs and cost-performance tradeoffs. Its control layers ‘sits above the vendors’ above the vendors to prevent infrastructure and process duplication.
  • AheadComputing raises additional $30mn for CPU architecture
    Ahead Computing has raised an additional USD 30mn for a Seed2 round to advance the development of its high-performance CPU microarchitecture designed to meet the increasing compute demands of AI workloads. This round was led by Eclipse, Toyota Ventures and Cambium with Corner, Trousdale Ventures, EPIQ, MESH and Stata also participating. With AI workloads reshaping compute across workstations, PCs and hyperscale data centres, GPU performance continues to take center stage. However, CPU performance, which is often overlooked, is essential for AI workloads and a critical component of overall system capability; and as the workload mix shifts towards inference and agentic AI workloads, higher per-core CPU is increasingly becoming and industry priority.
  • Datarails to expand across North America & EMEA with proceeds of Series C round
    AI-native financial platform Datarails has secured USD 70mn for its Series C round led by growth equity investor One Peak, which invested alongside Vertex Growth, Vintage Investment Partners, Zeev Ventures, Innovation Endeavors, Joey Low, Qumra Capital and Claltech. The funding will be used to accelerate its geographic expansion across North America and EMEA. Datarails’ Excel-native approach has been pivotal to its growth, as the Microsoft application continues to be the preferred tool for finance teams. However, with Datarails, information is no longer siloed and users can create a single source of truth, one that combines FP&A cash management, month-end close and spend control, for the CFO’s office.
    Rapid Care acquires DeepDoc
    Rapid Care, an AI-driven healthcare technology company, has announced its acquisition of DeepDoc, an artificial intelligence platform for medical record analysis and summarization. The acquisition expands Rapid Care’s growing portfolio of AI-enabled solutions, which are designed to streamline patient-to-payment processes, strengthen clinical and administrative decision support and improve operational efficiency.
    DeepDoc uses machine learning, generative AI and data intelligence to automate the intake, organization and synthesis of large volumes of unstructured medical records. It converts complex clinical documentation into concise, searchable summaries with 99% accuracy.
  • N47 leads $19mn Series A round for XBuild
    XBuild, an AI platform for the construction industry, has raised USD 19mn for its Series A round led by N47. Other investors are Rackhouse Ventures and Andreessen Horowitz. The company will use the funding to build a vibe-coding estimating platform that will scale proposal capabilities into verticals such as landscaping, installation, HVAC, plumbing, windows, doors, glass and glazing.
    The company tackles pain points such as pricing accuracy, cash flow gaps and poor communication through its AI-native estimating platform that is agentic, chat based and trained on the inputs used by roofers, such as measurement and site photos. It uses this information to produce standardized, editable estimates in minutes with no demos or onboarding required.
