More often than not, when we cover fundraises in the healthcare space they are predominantly based in the United States. This week is a little different and we lead with the UK, where agentic healthcare platform Flexzo AI has raised GBP 8.9mn (USD 12mn) for its Series A round led by Octopus Ventures and with participation from Fuel Ventures.

Flexzo AI will use the funding to support the rollout of its platform across NHS Trusts and accelerate its expansion in the US.

The workforce management platform enables hospitals to source temporary and permanent staff from its talent pool without paying a fee. It also contains rostering tools, staff bank and float pool management and a national database of pre-verified healthcare professionals.
