  • LUMIQ, an AI-native financial services company, has closed a strategic funding round led by Bajaj Finserv, with participation from existing investor Info Edge Ventures, to scale its autonomous decisioning platform across the United States and Southeast Asia. The capital will expand go-to-market efforts in the US and Southeast Asia, deepen the decisioning capabilities of LUMIQ’s LiteCone platform, extend its AI agent workforce across additional financial-services roles and build a partnership ecosystem with cloud hyperscalers, AI labs and core banking and insurance platforms. LUMIQ’s LiteCone platform deploys AI agents that read case files, apply an institution’s own guidelines and reach decisions end to end, escalating only cases that require human judgment, with reasoning attached and cross-referenced to policy for audit purposes.
  • Category Ventures leads HeyMilo’s $6mn raise to expand AI recruiting agents
HeyMilo, an agentic recruiting platform for high-volume hiring, has raised a total of USD 6mn led by Category Ventures, with participation from Canaan Partners, Alumni Ventures and ERA. Alongside the funding, HeyMilo is launching three new agent types. AI Scenario Assessment puts candidates through a live scenario with a built-in AI assistant and scores how they plan, prompt and judge AI output. Candidate Recommendations resurfaces previously screened applicants from the ATS and returns ranked shortlists without manual re-engagement. Notetaker captures structured notes across live recruiter-led interviews so each candidate interaction produces consistent, reviewable signals. HeyMilo builds structured screening into the job application itself, running voice, video, phone, SMS and resume agents as soon as a candidate applies. Recruiters receive rubric-scored results and evidence-backed transcripts inside the ATS they already use. The company has onboarded staffing agencies, RPOs and enterprise employers including Randstad, WilsonHCG and Neo Financial, and has screened more than one million candidates in production across staffing, BPO and high-volume corporate hiring.
